If it doesn't already have that particular checksum stored in its database, it automatically looks for it elsewhere on the internet. If it still can't find it, you search manually and the checksum is saved for future use. With more than 1 million subtitles being downloaded every day, however, the chances that your movie will be correctly identified is getting better by the minute!
