NewsPoint is a tool that continuously monitors various data sources and saves the results to a database or on a hard disk. These data sources include RSS, weather information, stock quotes, database replication and many more.

Now that this news and information is available you can use it in combination with our DataPoint Add-on to display those news items in a live and running slide show.

Import any RSS news feed into a database.
Synchronize a Google calendar.
Replicate a Microsoft Access database, Microsoft SQL server, MySQL database or any other OLEDB or ODBC data source.
Grab an image (e.g. weather map) of a web page.
Get live stock quotes
Collect current weather information and forecasts of a location.
Capture an image of a webpage.
Synchronize an XML file.
Data feeds are continuously monitored.
Collected information is saved in a Microsoft Access database or Microsoft SQL server.
Combined with DataPoint technology you can display live news in a running PowerPoint slide show, updated automatically as new news comes in.
